Alyssa began her yoga practice at a young age to aid with a physical disability, and has since discovered the life changing spiritual benefits of the 8 limbed path of yoga. She has been consistently practicing for the past 5 years, and took her 200 hour teacher training in 2021. She also loves sound healing, and likes to utilize it during practice and meditation. 

Alyssa received her Environmental Studies degree from UCSC in 2021, and is deeply passionate about the environment. She believes that yoga is a way to encourage people to be mindful on and off the mat, and this translates into a happier planet. Alyssa loves to read about the science of yoga, and how it affects the brain, and tries to incorporate this into the practice.
