Elise originally started practicing yoga over ten years ago, when she was 13. She noticed that the practice changed her outlook on exercise, and that challenging movement affects more than just the body, it also affects the mind. Years later after completing her 200 hour YTT, she wants to help other people discover the positive effects a consistent yoga practice can have on your physical and mental health.

Elise received her 200 hour YTT in the Summer of 2018, from a group that worked closely with Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Over the course of training she learned about Yoga philosophy, Ayurvedic practices, and how to incorporate yoga into life off the mat. The specific styles Elise is trained in are Hatha and Vinyasa, and the more specific name of the practice handed down by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is known as The Art of Living. The Art of Living Practice inspired Elise’s practice early on when she first start teaching, and still does today.
